slating us for selling half season tkts around december last year !! when they have a waiting list of 50,000 ??

so what i wanna know is :

do they have a waiting list of 50,000 ? if so how come my mate got one before last season..(he wasn't on a waiting list)

if they had they would need a 85/90,000 seater new stadium...

why someone living in lpool claiming to be a fan of 30 years hasn't already got a season tkt and is on a list !!

evidences the fact that there's more "outsiders" supporting them than locals ....(not a bad thing)

RS have about the same number of season ticket holders as Everton.

Many of the fans on the waiting list attend by buying on a match by match basis, and need to

    1. Hold membership (for which they pay)
    2. Buy on a premium rate ticket line

It's a fact that they like their footy tourist, because they tend to spend a lot of money at the club when they come - and that is why many tickets find their way abroad.

This has always been a load of sh.ite. The RS fans all apply for ST's and for their kids and their pets in the full knowledge that they will never take them up. Added to this the same people have made multiple applications just to be able to say 'I'm on the list' , it is and will remain pure unadulterated BS.

a relative of mine put his son on the waiting list a couple of years ago and was told it would be 13 years until he would get one.
the only way you can get season tickets now is if you buy one directly of someone who already owns one.

It has to be over 25,000 because he never received a letter asking if he still wants to remain on the list. When he asked how big the waiting list is they estimated around 40-45,000

If this is the case good on them !!

however my mate "just phoned them up" before last season and got one..I know this for a fact...

It also answers the arguments "why would liverpool want a ground share ?"

why would they want to share a 60k seater stadium when they obviously require a 70/80k seater stadium ? the bloody thing would be mostly empty on our home games even if we got 55k every week !!

Not really if they have it at around 65,000 and have a large hospitality section, once the main tickets have sold out if people want to go to a game they will have to pay high prices to sit in one of hospitality areas. its actually good marketing.

most of the hospitality seats are always taken even against lower teams, Some companies pay thousands of pounds just so that they can send their clients to one game.

i had a look at trying to get a couple of tickets in the hospitality section last season for the everton game, they were already sold out months before the game.

not sure what they get each game 40k ?? if they have waiting list of 50k and say only 40k of them are "real" that means they'll want at least an 80k stadium..which as stated... why would they want a share with us/us them.. as we know we wont get 80k per game ...

if they use the majority for hospitality....they'll still have a long waiting list so what would be the point ?
