    My 2 cents !!

Firstly - everyone knows turnover is vanity...profit is sanity !!..it's totally irrelevant to most points what our "turnover" is...the important point is what is our profit ? According to Bill it's zero !!

Secondly -The ethos of tickets argument is valid..how he puts it takes away from the main point for me...and that is how we as a club would be percieved if this was to happen...as soon as something like this happens ALARM BELLS would start ringing..the BANk would maybe start to panic and start calling in the debt...our debtors would then start to panic and maybe start calling in their debts...and hence begins a domino effect that would surely take the club down !!

Thirdly - even to ask the players for a pay cut would start THE ALARM bells ringing and again the perception of the club wouldn't actually be the reality....So no matter what happens COULD have a negative effect.

Fourthly - The point was made earlier that clubs like ourselves cannot improve without investment....for me there needs to be a levelling out of the playing field with regards to the dispersments of payment from the Premier league and particularly TV money...The likes of manu, liverpool, arsenal chelsea and now city...have and are currently manipulating the majority of this income by the number of appearances on our screens..(manu will have been on after this weekend for the first 3 weeks of the season)...the argument being people want to watch a top team !!... however if this money was more evened out it by showing other than the top 6 every week it would help the incomes of ALL teams such as ourselves outside of the "top 6"....and assist with cashflow difficulties...

Finally - If something like this scheme did take off it would have to be done OUTSIDE of the club..in order to avoid the above points occurring.....If fans wish to do it...IT HAS TO BE DONE...with the club isolated form any sort of connection....

This is a myth about a bank calling in debt
A bank can legally only call in debt that is due now, or was due previously and hasn't been paid yet!
The same as if you take out a £100,000 mortgage today to be paid over the next 20 years, the bank can't just decide to call it all in next month!

    Have we defaulted?
Id there evidence we will default when the value of the players we have exceeds the amount we owe?

There isn't one single decimal place in our finances that the bank doesn't know inside out! To say they're just gonna magically realise something else if something like this happens is just silly!

dont forget i did state the word MAYBE in my post....

i have seen many a business go under due to panic calling in of debts for less things than whats being suggested here....

as soon as there's a hint of a problem people want their money back !!

it may not even be the bank more likely the taxman...the order of claims is:

    The Taxman
    The Bank
Then it goes to in order of size of debtor.........

I also stated IT'S THE PERCEPTION...from outside the club...that would cause the negative effect..and for me doing something like this would give such a perception.......and i also stated.... "Finally - If something like this scheme did take off it would have to be done OUTSIDE of the club..in order to avoid the above points occurring.....If fans wish to do it...IT HAS TO BE DONE...with the club isolated form any sort of connection.... "

the point being IF FANS WISH TO DO IT !!!.....i never stated they couldn't.....

Well yes I also think it would need to be done outside the club
But the money has to be handed over to them at some point if they're gonne buy a player with it?
