Full Backs Required

    I know alot of you guys have made a comment surrounding this but this is an issue that needs rectified for next season. We have Baines as the only proven left back at the club and our right backs are neville n hibbo. I watched reserves today against the scum and both full backs where awful. We need cover for Baines and we need to sign a right back to start in 1st team. I believed at one time coleman could be the man for the job but not so sure anymore. At best he is a utility player.

    Any thoughts who you would like as a right back within reason

    Baines and Hibbert are both capable players so I honestly don't think we need any full backs. Distin can fill in at LB if required and we have 3 or 4 players who can do a job for us at RB if need be.

    hibbert does cus there is no1 else, we got to strive for better than his below par performances

    I have said it before and I will say again that Hibbert is underrated. He has consistently put in solid performances at RB all season and in my opinion we don't need to strengthen the defence at all.

    Maybe u are jus sum1 who is happy with wot we have instead of wanting more and wanting better. Me personally, I want to see us back in Europe.

    Of course I want more and want better, but we aren't going to be able to afford Dani Alves or Kyle Walker are we? In the summer we won't have much money to spend so we need to spend it wisely and defence is not an area were we should be looking to strengthen.

    As I said "within reason" ruling out the likes of dani alves.... There has to be sum1 out there we can give a go, hibbo makes me nervous and so does neville altho he does not make me as nervous as hibbo does at right back. Possibly coleman could have a go toward the last few games of season as there does not seem to be much to play for in the league unless we can get some good results against spurs and liverpool.

    we need a right back and that's it but we aren't even desperate for a right back. baines never seems to miss a game and even if he did distin could step in at left back for a bit. neville is finished, coleman seems to be a bit of a dodgy defender and hibbert is a decent player.

    we can get buy for a season or 2 with hibbert starting and coleman getting a few games. but are priotiy is signing pieranr and the straq permantly and also buying a right winger - those are what we are desperate for. buying a right back will have to wait

    we have England youth internationals in Luke Garbutt and jake Bidwell at left back, you would think these are the natural progression to Leighton Baines?
