    I have just asked the great man what the chances are of him being capatin via twitter.
    I believe he is busy watching the Italian job but will respond later.

    He should have been given the armband earlier.

    He is a born leader and has shown true passion for the club.
    He gives us solidity at the back and has great distribution with the ball.

    I think warrington dan is starting to like him too.

    I think he is a better captain than Jags is, so I would be supportive of the idea. A captain needs to be someone who the players and fans respect and take not of and I think the players respect and take note of Johnny.

    johnnyH can replace sylvan, whose getting on and will only have another season with us i guess.

    he deserves just for what he did to ashley cole in the chelski penalty shoot out.

    Yes I do think he is playing very well at the moment but I don't think he should be captain. If Neville is playing right back then I think he should be captain. I say this because Neville is a full back and a full only! In the absence of Neville then I honestly think Distin should be captain as he has the next most experience. I also think Howard would be a suitable captain

    I can't see Jags and Heiti making a good centre back partnership. They're too small. One of them working alongside Distin is efficient but both of them together could cause us problems
