    jus saw the hightlights of the england game and when Gerrard came off I reckon Pearce said `thats fine` which insinuates that Gerrard was apologetic for his performance or for his injury which in my mind is a pretty decent thing to do

    He didn't play well at all, but, to be fair to him he played 2 hours on Sunday and has a 12:30 kick off on Saturday.
