There is also talk that Christian Purslow has been hired as a consultant. Although, it would be for the best all round if we just waited until the blue union find and vetted a buyer for us.

"The New York-based firm, which also brought Ellis Short to Sunderland in 2008, approached Everton FC and asked to work with them, partly due to the club’s growing profile in the US."

Well, we are the home from home for US stars in England.. I'm surprised we haven't tried to cash in on the American market before now...

Even if this Inner city is helping us find an investor it's going to take at least 3 months for anything to materialise based on the rest of the seasons performances... If any investor the 'Innercity' group find wants to take over a club such as Everton they'll want to find stability, future achievements and european football. They will also want to know what is needed by them, how much money the club wants to spend during transfer windows and how much increased or decreased revenue they may be looking at.

With our current financial plight the potential owner will want to focus on how to get rid of our debts and how the club attempts to keep out of debt. There's a number of things that needs to be taken into account and Goodison Park may even become the next Ethiad or Sports Direct Arena if things aren't correctly which means time is needed

Rumours that "innercity are helping us find new investment" - to "Takeover near" is such an impressive leap, I think I'll back you for Gold in the Long jump at this Summers Olympic games!!

Have also heard Mothercare are interested in taking over from Chang, something to do with all the under 6's who support Everton, about 18,000 apparently............

They are from New York, they find buyers for all different sports.
They are rated as the best, but do not get carried away, they have not spoken to everton about this yet.

Why has Fellaini signed his contract and not been sold?

Do you still think buying Heitinga was a mistake?

I thought Denis Stracqualursi wasn't good enough for the PL?

I thought Donovan would not want to come back to us?

Bogie and 11Blue make good points. tickets picking anyone up on posting_shite is a bit like Adolf Hitler criticising Australia for having an overly harsh policy on immigration.

Although the level of detail and the sheer length of time tickets can hold a grudge for is truly.... indicative of him being a sad little waste of oxygen.
