looks like Gibbo is settling in nicely to life as an Everton player....

has suffered a knee injury, which looks like keeping him out of action for up to 4 weeks....

wonder how far Rodwell is to a return, i really don't want Neville in midfield for the sunderland game...

everyone expected to return early march except rodwell whos mid march, so on that reckoning they will be back mid april and rodwell will be out for rest of season., maybe if jags is back he may play johnny with felli, cant see him using barkley , maybe the new portugese lad who can play in centre , but doubt it think we going to have to put up with neville :-(

Osman possibly to come back in? He's among those who are coming back soon.

I expected it to be perfectly honest... He weren't match fit when he came and throwing him for a good 70 mins each game will eventually take its toll on him

not being harsh on Gibbo as he needs time to settle but he hasnt actually made a difference to our team other than the goal against City, i dont see it as a step down playing neville or anyone else at centre mid to be honest

Disagree totally.  He's been our best holding mid with felliani spending more time forward.

I think he does a lot more for us than people think, he brakes up the play very well and is confident on the ball. He's not the kind of player who gets the ball and takes on 4 or 5 players with skill and pace and excites everyone, e.g. like drenthe does. He does his job very well protects the back four, breaks up the play and passes the ball on to the players who can do the damage. We haven't lost yet when he's been in the team. I don't think people realise how good he has been for us.
