Arteta said late August " we must stick together in tough times"  then on deadline day he asks for a transfer on deadline day and puts Moyes in an impossible situation.  Look at him now and his new Arsenal team mates out of everything!!!!! Hope Arsenal continue to slide and that we beat them at Goodison this season.  He had been poor for us last season yet Moyes and the fans stuck by him, he got a big contract and was our highest paid player.  Hope we win the Fa cup and show him.  Typical footballer these days, arrogant and no loyalty to club, manager or fans!!

Ps hope Arsenal finish out of the European places too.

to be honest wish him well.
But he's no Fabregas and like Pienaar suits an above average team rather than a top premier team.

I think those comments are a bit harsh, arteta showed us loyalty and good times. Age probably made his decision to leave and by no means a typical money grabbing footballer. I also wish him well.

Don't forget we paid two and a bit and sold him for ten, also think he gave us his best years.

    Wish him well

To be honest Milky I wouldn't class Arsenal as a top team anymore. If they loose Van Persie then they would struggle to make the top half. Their defence isn't very good and their strikers struggle to score other than RVP their only real presence is the midfield trio of arteta wilshere and ramsey. Oxlade chamberlain will also be another eye catcher

I don't believe are arsenal are a one man team at all, not like gerrard was at Liverpool. Think arsenal are capable of beating anyone without rvp.

Arteta stayed loyal to us when he was one of the best midfielders in the prem and he chose to keep playing for us, he left to play in the champions league get over it

He was desperate to play champions league football and unfortunately he could not get that with us in our current situation.

the whole profit thing has no reflection on arteta at all. he had no choice in that. What he did have a choice in was the manner in which he left. putting in a request at the last minute doesnt show respect for EFC. Any decent man/footballer would have put this request in at the begining of the window giving DM adquate time to find a replacement. i dont know why a lot of you cant see this

arteta hasnt been playing badly, he was bought in to sit in front of the back four and spray the passes around,  wilshire was meant to be the playmaker but he is out injured, so arteta has had to be the creative midfielder aswell.

I think even wenger accepts now he will have to bring in some big name signings in the summer.
