Who will eventually replace Moyes

For me it's got to be Stubbs with Weir as his assistant.

It's no coincidence this pairing is now installed for the reserves and I think Moyes and the board have deliberately done this as a quick appointment for when Moyes leaves for Spurs, i for one wouldn't begrudge Moyes leaving for Tottenham.

None of the top managers would accept spurs current transfer policy of having no money.

no such policy exists.....they spent alot of money putting together a team that could get them into the top 4....which they now have.......in the summer they'll have champions league football and money to spend......

they spend big money on wages too......its a dream job!.......

I don't think the club will take a huge risk like that - coz it would be a huge risk!

Moyes gets paid £3.5 Million a year and there'll be a queue of options as long as the Mersey who'd bite our hands off for less than that kind of wage on a 4 year contract! Admittely, most of them would be risks too. Infact every option would be. But some are a lot less riskey than the likes of Stubbs/Weir.

It will really depend on who is flavour of the month at the time. It could happen this year, next year or in a few more years. If it were to happen now or within the next 12-15 months, I could see the board trying the same route as that which worked with Moyes - find someone promising from the lower leages....like Lee Clark or Derek McInnes...or someone who has done good jobs at Prem level before but who have been recently devalued or even disgarded - you don't forget how to do a good job as Alan Pardew has shown. Someone like Owen Coyle or Chris Hughton!

they wont have money to spend, look at their last few signings have been freebies, loans or 6m for parker.  If spurs had just given redknapp 25m to spend on a striker they would be challenging for the title but Levy wouldnt give it.

ye difference is if moyes did leave this summer, the new manager would inherit a **** squad, who probably wouldnt bother with any of the loans we have had in as he would want his own players.  Oh yeah and there wouldnt be any money to spend for replacements.

i can see us going through 3 or 4 managers in a short spell.  unless the new manager is given significant funds the replace the ageing squad were going to be in trouble.  straq, drenthe pienaar and distin could all leave the team in the summer under a new manager
