Seen a few for around £100 quid, only want to use it for basic internet and watching vids plus the odd game, I know that they have limited processors but the screens seem pretty lively on the 10' ones I was looking at buying but they all seem to have limited market access... Anyone know if there is a way around this?
Also anyone recommend a decent budget tablet?

Get one, I don't know enough technically to advise but I have always had a PC and laptop and generally used them for work, I bought one of these tablet things and they are just so easy to use I can't stay off it. For web browsing and stuff I would not use either the laptop or PC anymore, mine cost a little more than your thinking to spend but I promise it was money well spent (£380 I think this is relatively cheap compared to a new laptop or PC, mine is a Toshiba at100 and its now available for about £300 I am not sure about its limitations it does all I require).

If you will be using it a a lot then go for the Sony tablet, its about 100 quid cheaper than the ipad 2, while also being a better tablet imo.
