Now that we have a two week break, hope Jelavic's injury clears up.  Cant wait to see him playing for us.  He is a class act.

in fairness Jelavic scored as many goals in Scotland as Samaras has in less than half the number of games. 30 in 45 compared to 31 in 104........

Jelavic, Larsson, Kanchelskis, Viduka, Ferguson, Lambert, Collins, Gazza, Weir, Buthcher, Goram, Souness, Di Canio, Laudrup, Bellamy, De Boer brothers, Van Bronkhorst, Klos, Petrov, Albertz, Prso, Gattuso, Keane, to name a few played in scotland......Ohhh and Georgie Best played there too.

Just because the league is muck does not mean that no good can come out of it. Jelavic can be our diamond from the dirt

Quite a lot of those players are from a fair few years ago though. Its mainly been in recent times that they've really failed to produce or find anyone of note. Not to say there aren't players in that league who could be good if given the oppertunity.

In fairness, Scotland has always had its fair share of sh*t players too....its not a resent development.

Some very negative comments!!!!  Give the guy a chance, Moyes knows a good player.  Lets get behind our players especially the new boys.  We got a few players in Jan and definitely our performances have improved.  Come on Evertonians.

Agreed. This is exatly what people were saying about Drenthe, Straq and Gibson. They are starting to open up now and are producing results. Jelavic probably won't perform exceptionally this season; he will need a few months to settle in like Straq and Drenthe did.
