    He aint had many good games since he got back from that long term injury he got against newcastle a few seasons back. He wudnt get in our team now. Aside from that. The whole Arsenal team looks lost

    This Arsenal team reminds me of that Liverpool side a few years ago. They completely rely on one player (RVP).

    Artetas like a crab,sideways.

    You may get one incisive pass per game but other than that,his general play has been poor in a weak gooners team.

    Hope he regrets leaving us & eventually admits it.

    Champions league football,he'splayed 5 or 6 games & thats your lot.Grass isn't greener.

    I believe wot I said is still true. Arteta one of the best players to pull on a blue shirt and wen he went to Arsenal I thought fair play he has an opportunity to play champ league football and he deserves it after giving us loyal service. Having said that he not the player he was before injury. I dont think any1 can disagree with that.

    Arteta isn't a patch on the Arteta of old. The Arteta of old constructed all of our attacks and was influential pretty much every game he played but I agree with Murray. His injury against Newcastle has heavily decreased his ability. I understand that you still want him to do well, I feel the same way about the Yak but Mikel isn't the best little Spaniard we knew and loved.

    Poor Arteta just one of those fragile bodies. He should actually be playing back in Spain, where their aren't as many hard tackling and running going on. The PREM is brutal for fragile bodies. I think the most important skill a player should possess is that of being able to sidestep or jump over in a pico second an oncoming De Jong type tackle. If you can't, especially if your a possession and ball distributing mid your screwed. They should actually create a stat for that. Soft spanish and italian mamas boys need not apply, hahahaha!

    Couldn't give a **** about Arteta myself. And no, someone who hands in a transfer request 4 or 5 hours before the closure of a transfer window doesn't deserve or good wishes!

    He is still one of my favourite players to play for this club i just think our style of play suited him more than that of arsenal.

    The same happend to Pienaar although he wasnt playing as much. They suit our club more, still think Arteta is an awesome player

    i believe mikel plays the same sport as everton? two threads with blues arguing over players who dont matter anymore, that was my point.

    wats the problem with watching other teams play? i was at the sunderland arsenal game as i couldnt afford to travel to liverpool so opted for sunderland. ive not only got passion for everton got passion for football. plus was funny standing in stadium of light with everton top on full show the mackems was giving arteta some abuse calling him money grabber singing he should have stayed at everton quality

    He's an irrelevance to us now, I don't care that we watch other teams, but that is exactly what they are, other teams with there players we need to support the team we have not the has beens.
