Does Drenthe Hate Hibbert?

Whenever Drenthe recieves the ball on the right, Hibbert absolutely legs it down the wing for the pass, but he always cuts inside and passes to Fellaini. This must have happened 4 times or so.

I'm really impressed with Drenthe (and Gueye, they are both playing well). He throws in the pace and unpredictability that we need, but I'd like to see him try Hibbert at least once.

It's coming that's for sure. Don't be too quick to judge. Passes to Fellaini is good too.

Hibbert's run takes a player with him, which is useful...

Hibbert can't cross to save his life, which isn't useful...

    Make the run good...

    Receive the ball bad...

    Drenthe is right...

He knows that Hibbert is useful when the other side has the ball.

The only time he did it, Fellaini had a shot cleared off the line. I'm not saying Drenthe did anything wrong that game, but hey. Good performance from everyone. Blackpool should have had about 6 yellow cards; they were far too aggressive. We should have won 5-0, too. Still, good performance.

I thought Drenthe played very well today, and hopefully he can keep it up because today was the best I have seen him play for us.

Drenthe is a quality player, but goes of the boil abit at times. Great finish tho.

I've heard he gets up early and goes to bed late so he can hate him longer.

I heard that when he finally does go to bed he puts matchsticks in his eyes so he can hate him a bit more.

Drenthe does not hate Hibbert at all, but the presence of Tony on the pitch puts Roy's sense of self-worth under some strain. Tony plays with an almost casual flair, which puts the other players in the shade. When Roy visits the alehouse, he is greeted with no more than reasonable warmth. If, however, he goes in with Tony on his arm, it is a different scene altogether. A pint of bitter awaits Tony on the bar, on the house, and his name is automatically chalked up next to the dart board. Sometimes, he is not even asked to mark. The ladies visibly flaunt their ankles, and meet his every glance with that coquettish look.
When Tony comes round for tea, Roy's kids clamour around him, their rapt upturned faces following every stylish tic, their wide eyes like little pools of love. Roy's vision is clouded with images of muddy footprints on the backs of the front seats of the car, and jam butties in the video recorder. His wife does not notice any of this. Does she understand? It is not that Roy is socially inept- his manners are polished to perfection and his grooming exudes class. But Tony- he carries himself so effortlessly, with an air of insouciance that both men and women alike find beguiling.
It may have been better for Roy to play Tony in down the wing on at least one of the four occasions, if only to cause some uncertainty in the Blackpool back four. Tony has put some super crosses in this season, too.
