    Just thinking how boring our stand names are (well boring as they are named after the roads.

    Got me thinking of the great Dixie Dean and wonder why the main satnad was never named after him after all the records and what he done for the club even passing away at the derby game.

    Good thinking Jayee019 - What a fitting tribute to an absolute hero. Write to Goodison and request they do it, or we could get a petition going by all the blues.

    Once the Dixie Dean statue is returned to where it used to be, they could re-name the Park End as the Dixie Dean end.

    Great idea, I'd assume it would have been a stand if they hadn't gone with the statue. Think someone like Harry Catterick or Alan Ball could have had a stand?

    Good shout jay, I think there is only Dixie who wouldn't cause arguments, possibly Alan ball but then what about Howard Kendall, Alex young, harry catterick and Brian labone etc. I don't think anyone would want to change the name of the Gwladys street so that leaves two stands between a number of undoubted heroes, in the future people may want to add ratcliffe, southall and god knows who else, so although I agree with naming a stand after Dixie it does open up all kinds of debates.

    Sell the naming rights for 4 diifferent stands and a stadium sponsor name.

    Create revenue for a GP rebuild.

    Plaques on your way in & statues are more affordable than new stands.

    Slightly off topic, but I see that Ashley has had all traces of the name St James' Park removed from the "Sports Direct Arena" and some fan came back and spray painted the name back in place

    Your right but there is one thing Dixie has over 99% of all other players. He passed away in the stadium in a derby game. No bigger love than that. Lots of respect. Gwladys street should never be changed the rest is up for debate. the main stand shoud be Dixies. One for Kendell as those were the glory days.

    i think the naming of the toilets is a good idea and a bit of a laugh. Joe Parkinson's Pie hole??? hahahaa

    Not two sure on Billy as i can remember two great goals he has scored. The other two i can not remember one good thing bar them leaving.

    Why don't yer practice modding instead of making these stupid threads yer turd moobs beaut

    The stand names are ok as they are if its not that bell end scott making a new badge with angel wings and wasps youre trying to name the stands
