no i liked louis he just needed a change of scenery, seems to have relaxed a bit since he got a good few hundred miles away from the kkk stadium, he maybe thought they were going to come charging across stanley park dressed as them ghouls and spooks to get him, and now he is away from it all, he can relax.

Are you suggesting that letting Saha go was a mistake?

I slated Louis. He was so frustrating. With him gone its like a weight has been lifted off this club. For one player to command so much respect from his fellow players yet provide so little was infuriating. To have the audacity to tell DM when he felt well enough to play, and then walk into the team was anathema to everything that we are supposed to be about.  He scored two goals at the weekend. He could score twenty more before the end of the season. The simple fact is, he would not have done it here. I have been critical of DM's tactics, and will continue to be if I feel they are inappropriate, but Saha has a hell of a lot t to answer for with the "performances" he put in here.

I won't apologise for being critical of a player who has raked it in whilst at this club and not really repaid the faith or patience that the club or us as fans have had with him. I don't dislike him, and I do wish him well, but I am glad he has gone.

I take your point about Louis. However my argument had always been that he became totally unsuited to the tactics at everton. if you want to lump the ball up the pitch then Straq is your man! if you want to play passing, attacking football then it's louis. but he needs support, which he never had here.
i agree that it was time for him to move on elsewhere and it suited everyone in the end as we got pienaar back.
