Who do you think we need to get signed on permanent deals if possible?

Straq believe he's avaliable for reasonable fee of around 2 mill Yes
Donavon to expensive for us would love him though No
Pienaar we've missed him! We need him Yes
Drenthe would like him don't think he'll stay not enough game time No

cant see pienaar coming, spurs would put a massive price on his head, and one of the reasons he left the first time round was for CL football.

Straq will depend how many goals he scores in the league, he offers good work rate but we already have a whole team that offers that, wait until the end of the season to see how many he gets.

I can see what your saying on straq but for the price tag mooted you can't get a much better player these days. Look at the prices of players these days, I think it would be a bargain as i've heard we've gat a buy out option for 1.8mill.
With regards to pienaar I think he wants back for good but he may be priced out of our range so only time will tell. He now realises the grass isn't always greener. Thing is with harry more than likely taking england job a new manager at spurs may want him to stay. Think harry would let him go if he was to stay in charge as he really pushed to get out of the club in the last window

Srely if theres a possibility of Pienaar staying there'll be an option to buy in which case they'll have agreed the fee already?

    bull****.

you mean like when we loaned out coleman to blackpool they had already agreed a fee to buy???

you mean like with spurs loaning adebayor there is a fee agreed?????

pienaar came as spurs didnt need him, if bale gets injured, pienaar will be recalled it as simple as that.  with the deal done so late in the day, and redknapp saying no the first time pienaar asked to go on loan

you have to remember the reasons pienaar left were for more money and CL football, will we change our stance on his wages??? its likley we cant even offer him europa league next season.

if bale leaves, pienaar will be in the starting line up.

Or you can just beleive there is a 1m price tag and we will easily sign him if that makes you feel better,

This is just wrong, until denis started against fulham my main problem with the team was the lack of effort from the team. In the last few games (fulham, man city and chelsea) denis has led the team in a way we hadnt seen from louis all season.

Donovan YES but isnt going to happen, Straq YES (depends on the price) I think 1.8 m would be a bit much, Drenthe YES (as long as there is no fee and his wages arnt massive), Pienaar YES 3m would be a good price! Considering he would be a year or two older than when we sold him for that sum.

    Calm down there missy.....

the majority of times when players go out on loan there's clarity around them either coming back or there being an option to buy. Coleman was young and hadn't established himself in the first team, after coming from Ireland Moyes wanted to give him first team experience and this was achieved by putting him out to Blackpool. So do not try to compare the two, the situation is completely different.

There has been no clear answer given in regards to buying Pienaar at the end of the season but everyone interviewed has talked about him staying beoyond the loan period and the player himself says he'll look at it at the end of the season.

As for going out for Champions league? Yeah, he got lots of that didn't he?

He's stated he wants to play week in week out, you have to admit that theres no chance of that happening at Spurs, he's loved at Goodison and was welcomed back by the fans with open arms.

And where did you get the £1m fee from? I didn't mention a fee, but common sense would indicate that the fee would be a lot higher....

Saha went for free to Spurs so who knows what agreement Redknapp and Moyes have made over the two players.....

Do yourself a favour and think before you type.

ye I do think, YOU try thinking about it.

with the deal agreed so late in the day, do you really think there would be an option to buy him back.  For pienaar to come back here he would have to take a pay cut and likely no european football.  the 2 things he left for in the first place.

with spurs in the position they are with redkanpp almost certain to leave, key players like bale and modric will also think about leaving, they can play for any team in europe.

he is surplus to requirements at the moment, granted, If bale gets injured they will recall pienaar.  and if bale leaves pienaar will be first team.

we need him, but so will spurs next season.  im sure moyes will offer but its unlikely to happen

Saha left for free as his contract is up at the end of the season and he wasnt doing it for us.

Redknapp sent a lot of players on loan in the transfer window,   they will need pienaar for next season, so why would they sell him, think about it.

99% of people on here thought he would stay first time round aswell.

i cant see him taking a pay cut and swapping CL football for no european football what so ever,

The deal was on the table for ages last time so most people thought he would end up leaving. This time if we can raise the funds he might well stay, spurs wont sell their best players so he wont be getting the game time with them again.
