is it just us or do we normally get rid of players that prove us wrong?

    Its only a co inkadink.

Every one that leaves us is on the slippery slope.(barring roo, lesc & art') 65 mill for a 6mill outlay compensates a bit though.

May just be that strikers that get the ball passed to them tend to score more.

I think new surroundings and new beginnings plays a big part! Fresh new energy everywhere to soak up.

THe style they play suits Saha. He needs a big striker up with him and if we had given him and Denis more starts together I think he would have scored regularly. He is a good player but not right for us at this time. Its also the same for Vic and Vellios, they can both do a job but will only score when we are down and gone to a front two to suit their game. Denis is the only one who looks comfortable with the Everton style and was a massive factor in our victories against City and Chelsea

I am made up he's gone, and I couldn't care less about how well or poorly he does for spurs. Louis was a good player but he wasn't doing a job here so he had to go.

yep told ya. So any people on ere were `oh you can have the injury prone lazy git` . im paraphrasing but i always knew he would do well. baring injury he can score a few goals there. Wasnt working here whch means you have to question our style of play surely. but if getting rid of louis was what was needed to get Pienaar then cant be bad.

    Pleased for Saha.

Everything he did well for Spurs was done with a quality striker in front of him. And that has always been how he operates best, either behind a front man or taking advantage of space and/or his pace. Obviously there is more chance of effectively using space to your advantage when a defence has two strikers to deal with.

I'm not sure you can blame Moyes for not having the money to be able to put someone of Adebayor's quality on the pitch next to Saha when he was with us, just as its money that better enables Spurs to play with a 4 man midfield over our five.

But, regardless of money, Moyes just doesn't get the most out of his strike force in the same way he does every other position in the team.

Can't help but feel its to do with him being a centre half, he seems to have a dysfunctional relationship with strikers and regardless of who his No 1 keeper is he is always buying more, many of whom never make it further than finch farm before plying their trade at much lower standard clubs than ours.

Seems like the days of Saha "creating" are well over. As he showed, he can still finish given a decent delivery. Everton must solve this problem when LD heads back. Can't heap all the work on Baines to deliver a 1/2 decent feed, right!??

Let's see how it goes with Drenthe and Coleman, Coleman still maturing, remember his age.
