We've looked solid at the back since the partnership's settled in. Jags will have a hard time getting back in on this form!

.....and we should be breaking the bank to keep Pienaar, we look like the everton of old again!!!!

I think that Johnny is having a good season at centre back and Distin is always reliable, so they could prove to be our best centre back partnership.

Yeah I like these two at the back and I agree that Pienaar is the missing part of our attack but dream on if you think we can get him back beyond the loan period..

distin has been a great signing for us. is getting a new contract? he's pushing the age limits now.

johnnyH has shown us what he can do. i could see him partnering jags if distin is going.

pienaar was fantastic. we've missed a creative midfielder since arteta left, but pienaar is better than arteta anyway. i was sorry to see him go and i'm made up he's come back. just hope we can keep him.

when jags was out injured 2 seasons ago johnny and disten were fantastic back then, we had a great run only losing 2 in 25 games or something, johnny is so much better with the ball than jags, i can see them being a good partnership was disten finished, i was worried that maybe johnny and jags were a little small together but i dont think its that much of a problem now.

Heitinga got a lot of criticism earlier in the season (deservedly so) with his performances in the middle of the park but its Moyes who was playing out of position and now he is playing back where he belongs we have really benefitted from his recent performances.

problem is will we have any european football, whereas spurs will definitely have CL football next season.

Then theres moyes will he be approached by spurs,

Even if pienaar is up for sale there not going to let him go for a free transfer or even what we would him for, at least 5-6m

will spurs sell bale if so, surely pienaar will slot nicely with ekottu.

but bottom line without europe its never going to happen.  and I dont think some other first team players will be happy with no european football either, i mean once or twice you can get away with it, but 3 years without no european football is massive.

Seventh spot is not impossible, and this often yields Europa League qualification. Keep hoping.

I really hope we do finish 7th but to be honest, I think that 8th is the best we can do this season.

Heitinga was worrying me at times because he was second best in the air to Torres

    Sadly, this was true.

But why the constant hate for Heitinga?
