I haven't seen much yet from Darron Gibson to rate him as a good player. I hope he turns it around soon as he is signed for 4 1/2 years.

    £500,000.

    Give it time.

Moyes will make worse buys for 5,6,7 times that amount.

500k He's not amazing I know but he's not bad either. He's young and will only get better as he plays

I said when we signed him that he needs time and he would get better with each game - coz he'd never had a run of games in his career.

It's been the opposite so far. His best performance was his debut against Villa and he's got progresively worse with each game since.

But I still think he'll turn it around!

I agree with you up to,"he's got progressively worse" bit. Fellaini had his best game for a while against City, and that was due in no small measure to the unselfish work Gibson did which freed Fellaini to play as he did. To top it all off he was the right man in the right place for the goal. So out of 3 games he's had 1 poor game, in a game where the team was really poor......

He may be good value for money but I think Rodwell, Fellaini and Barkley are all better than him.

why aren't you sold on him him?  he has won me over already.  i was pretty angry when we signed him, mostly because i'd ''heard'' he was ****.  but i wathced him myself on his debut against villa and i liked what i saw.  then i watched him from the top balcony against fulham in the fa cup and i knew he was quality.  you can see everything in the top balc so it's the perfect place to judge a player from.

trust me he is a quality player.  he'll do more for everton by the end of this season than rodwell has done for everton in his whole carear.  and he'll also make himself available for a pass from the back 4 than arteta ever did

He looks to get on the ball and create play. Albeit he's no Mata or Silva but for £1mil you can't argue.

agree, but its early days, i think we have to give him some time to settle in. and he was cheap enough so we can probably get our money back if we sell him.

I think he's a very sound player for the most part.  He has botched a couple of passes, but he seems to have a very cool head int he middle which is something we need.  He a good foundational player with better skills than the likes of hibbert or osman (or cahill, or neville, or vic, or...)
