Yakubu and Jobo, why cant we make a sale or make use of them?

I really dont understand why we cant make a sale for both of them.
We even had a better chance last year, but said no thx, we wanted more money.
We could even not land a sale for Jobo, where Fenerbache wanted to buy him.

This season Moyse let them out of the squad, and let them rot in the reserves.
    Why?

I think EFC make it even harder to sell when they obv. dont want ot use a player.
The prize is going down for both of them.
Even worse if both stay another year with their huge wages:(

I cant see it will be any worse up front or in defence with both of them giving a chanceif a sale come through.

I think Yobo is about to be gone!

Yak would be at Leicester now IMO if he was willing to take a pay cut. I think Moyes is keeping him out of the squad to put pressure on him to accept something less somewhere. If he's still here on Sept 1st, I wouldn't be suprosed to see him appear back in the first team squad soon afterwards!

    .

you answered your own question....its hard to offload a player when he can't get the same wages at another club....alot of players are quiet hapy to take the money and sit in the stands for a year or two.....

Thing is in Yak's case, it'll cost him. Coz whetever deal he can get now, it'll be alot less next summer if he has just spent a year sitting in the stands at Goodison. And the difference between what he would have got if he had signed for Leicester and what he will get next Summer proabably sees him coming out worse off in the long run!

could go like that...or could be a case that the lower Yakubu's price tag goes down, the more he can get himself in wages himself. Last season Everton wanted 8m for him, turning down 6.5m from west ham.......i'm sure west ham had set out a limit on the total value they would pay to get Yakubu (transfer + wages).......If everton now agreed to 2m, i'm sure Yakubu could still get the wages his agent had agreed last year....similarily next year, if Everton just let him go for free, Yak could still pocket the same wage deal....As much as Yakubu has become useless to us, he'd still be a valuable signing for a championship team......so i think as time ticks along, Everton are the only one losing money.....
