It was a fantastic game, with Wales the better team but Ireland always in it and so clinical from the few chances they got. But at the end of the day the Dragon roared louder.....

Great game to watch. Wales deserved their victory but felt it wasn't a pen at the end. How the ref could only issue a yellow to the Wales lad is a joke. Hope ye go on to win it .

Right call, definate red for Bradley Davies, however at the time i didnt think it was aPen for Wales, but have just watched it again, and really Ferris gave the ref no option. He made the tackle and should have left it there, but then he continued and raised his legs too high and drove him downwords, stupid really when he done what was needed anyway.

He only seemed to lift one leg though. Overall though I felt Wales deserved it, France are lucky in having Ireland and England travel to Paris, so I hope ye win it. Gatland needs to make a few changes and quiker for it to happen though.

Some players coming back into the team, so that will help. The main problem is losing BD now leaves us short in that area. Still think Ireland will have a say in the tournament, France and England flatter to deceive, Scotland arent far off, just need to finish off their attacks.
Its going to be a great tournament and anyone bar Italy have a say......

-Slight exaggeration there Howie but you are entitled..

Wales were far more inventive/creative in attack and also seemed to want it more. They deserved to win..no question.

Ireland were poor..again..against Wales...I think the rivalry between Munster/Leinster at Heineken Cup level is affecting performance at national level.

Anyway...well done on the day...much as it pains me to have to say it!

I thought it was a really good game. Much better than the Calcutta cup match. Wales really wanted to win that game and could really have put more points on the board. Well done Wales.......

Was only jesting, could have gone either way, other than Wales should have scored a lot more points 1st half.
Interesting thought on the Leinster Munster rivalry, but not sure how much it would affect the International side, as they would be not playing with the class foreigners both sides have, so would have thought that would galvanise them more as a Irish team.
