Steve83 said:My thoughts on Anichebe.
When he came through as a youngster with Vaughan I was really excited by him. Strong, passionate, fearless (remember him playing with the broken hand and going for everything).
Since his injury and his little run in with Moyes I have been guilty of being anti Vic. I thought when he did get a chance his touch was awful, offered little to the team and hated his attitude. Punching the ground, moaning etc
Not only cause he got a few goals but at the mo he looks fitter, happier, sharper. Maybe he is finally fully fit, happy. It took Yak a season to get fit after a big injury, same with Arteta.
So I not going to slag the boy off which I have been guilty of. Instead I hope he gets played in his favourite position, not on the wing. I hope he starts banging them in for us, hope that what we have seen last year was just him returning from a long list of injuries and he finally ready to fill the potential he showed when younger. Let's get behind the boy!!

anichebe is good coming off the bench, but playing up front for 90mins he is not as effective, he gets tired easily.
vellios cant handle 90 mins either he goes missing to often.
