Mate im same as you. Never rated him last time. He works hard and thats it. We totally lack any creativity what so ever and Pienaar is not the answer.

He seems to me to get the ball, run side ways, look around then pass it backwards again. F'kin mop'ead!

Mate, he doesnt score very often, he hasnt got a good shot on him, he hasnt got a good cross on him. If it wasnt for Baines making him look reasonably decent last time around you would ALL be agreeing with me and SC.

If he was from crosby, was white and called Peter Sausage they'd all think he was rubbish.

You obviously didn't see one the greatest midfielders ever to grace this
club, Colin Harvey ,(please forgive me Colin) he didn't score many didn't cross that many  and is one the best I ever saw

It is not just about scoring ,in the first half if we did it it was through him ,he drifted off in the second half but I think your "affections " would be better directed at others ,E.G. Gibson who couldn't paas and has the world record for a first time shot that finished up behind him

    I concur that one.

Should've kept my first ever Everton shirt, Pienaar from 09/10. It was the first game for him with the current squad we got, the next one he will shine even more! Fingers crossed, I have faith in him. ;) COYB,

Drenthe is better than Pienaar. Granted, he is a bit of a mad dog, but I would rather have that than fluffy puppy Pienaar. Plus, he is available on a free in the summer, so Moyes should be giving him some encouragement. I can't see Pienaar being a cheap buy, not now Arry has to pay tax on his bungs.

I thought Pienaar looked pretty good today.....

And I believe the reason he didn't play Drenthe (I would have as well, and tried Pienaar in the middle maybe, or to come on for Drenthe) is because he didn't want him suspended for Chelsea as there was a chance he'd have picked up a yellow today.

I did not realise that Roy had a nearly-full hand of yellow cards. I suppose dropping him was sensible.
