If he had another chance in front of the goal bet he'll score.

Moysey is going to have to have a good talk to them at half time.Gibson and Cahill are pretty poor.

They all look as though they can't be arsed.

Questionable sub as well, putting Neville on and pushing Fellaini up? Got long ball written all over it, and we won't be as good defensively. I'd have been throwing Jela on.

Gigson isnt good enough, a poor signing. fair enough he got us the goal last week but his overall game against city was poor. For someone playin prem league his standard of passing is aweful

gibson is quality i've said it from day one.  he did misplace a few passes against city but he is a great passer of the ball both short and long.  and he is rare for everton in the sense that he always wants the ball off the back 4.  even arteta, who is comfotable on the ball, wouldnt show himself enough to the back 4

I feel Gibson at 500,000 was a bargain and will be a good squad player. I dont think he will be in the team once Rodwell and Osman are back. Unless he was brought in to replace Rodwell i.e 500,000 sounds cheap since Sunderland had an offer of 5 million turned down 6 months earlier , does this mean Man Utd have first option on Rodwell in the summer or has the deal already been done by best mates Moyes and Fergie.

The offer for Gibson in the summer from Sunderland was excepted, the player couldn't agree terms

Bit like the comments on jelavic this.... cant we judge him once he's had a decent run?

I hope Rodwell stays. His sale value will only increase as he gains experience, so it would be bad business to cash in on him too soon. Plus, he's a useful player to have around in the meantime. Go away Fergie, or words to that effect.

He was good in the first couple of games but was poor against city and poor today. I gave him the benefit of the doubt against city - he might have done a lot of unnoticed tracking, but today he wasn't good enough - But neither were a lot of the players.

I hope he comes good at Everton. He does have talent but he's not as mobile as he should be especially if what Gary Neville said is true - that he is quicker than people think and has stamina. Sometimes play seems to pass him by but I hope Everton will sort him out

I read the criticism from united fans about his lack of mobility but from what I've seen he looks alright in that department (ooh er missus)... plenty of pace in the city game and he does get box to box. Only thing so far is a bit of rustiness in his passing.. if yer haven't played for a while then that's gonna be the case... I wasn't best pleased when we signed him but from his performances so far.. he's not a world beater but he looks like he could do a job for us.

he is a squad player, hence he was brought in.  once rodwell is back he will take over,  Im sure I saw one of his shots go our for a throwing yesterday,

I said it before apart from the long range shot he offers very little osman and rodwell should be ahead of him when they are back.

I don't think Gibson is a bad player and I'm inclined to agree with Tickets. I didn't think he played well yesterday and I didn't think he played well against City either, apart from scoring the all important goal.

I actually think he is poor and gives the ball away far too much!! He was lucky to get a goal against shitteh or would have had a shocker! Wonder what his passing accuracy is!
