Point of order gents (RS Trolls, just incase its not overtly clear)

    In the boarding on ten years I've occasioned on this dysfunctional forum of ours we've never been able to ignore a red troll.

    Come on, the fact that the longest thread on he is was posted by a liverpool fan is not a good sign at all.

    That its post about something the agent of our new signing said before Everton showed an interest in the player makes it even more cringe worthy. And yes I know I replied too.

    For pitty sake... lets all stop feeding the trolls.

    I part agree TC, but at least nothing unites the BR more than a sad RS posting on here with their usual level of intelligence.

    It kind of answers my next question as to why the Mods allow wind up merchants from our neighbours to post their drivel at will without just banning them - the last poster darrennobhead was in fact supporting racism which I find a curious subject to be left on these boards considering what has been deleted in the past - but I suppose the arguement will be made that at least inflammatory crap like this latest example at least gets the post count rolling along.

    I can understand your partial agreement. But would also add that a lot of people don't bother with the place as a result
    of the red invasions we have, and have had, on here. Other forums don't put up with it, but then there are those on here who seem to love creating a 10 page thread of bile and
    vitriol in response to a Liverpool fans posting guff.





    It is also clear that the fan in question was ignoring large volumes of evident considered in the suarez case and was
    condoning racism and that Russell wasn’t able to grasp that.





    I’m not saying that posting to these sad cases is the worse thing in the world, but just that doing so and allowing
    these cretins on here costs the forum much more than it gains.

    TC, point me in the right direction here.  You yourself admit that you only "occasion[ed] on this dysfunctional forum".  You're openly critical of the forum; and won't miss an opportunity to reminisce about the good old times.  If you don't like it, why do you continue to post?  I'm not for one minute suggesting that you shouldn't, nor am I condemning you (on the large part I enjoy/appreciate your posts).  You know that I have been trying to liaise with the club to see if things can be made better; and yet you were only to quick to point out those who had tried and failed in the past.  I'll be honest, I found your comments offensive and partonising.  If you want things to be better, don't come on posting diatribe like this. Direct your energies towards the club and trying to make it better.  If everyone did that, instead of occasionally putting on their holier than thou hats  and spoting off at each other then we might actually have a forum worth shouting about.

    I know you can take this post one of two ways.  I hope you take it constructively, but if you don't then I apologise for any offense caused.

    Its probably fair to say that I'm a little more than occasioned this place. Probably wishful thinking on my part retrospectively.

    OGV, many people have put far more effort in to putting this place right that you, and I'm probably not talking about the people who tried before you or the ones who tried before them, sadly.

    So for you to say that others should put their energies into improving the forum as you are is very patronising, inaccurate and more than a little pompous.

    It wasn't all that long ago you where throwing a hissy fit and emailing the club, and starting threads on here, and demanding to have your account deleted and your details and picture removed from this forum... only to rejoin, picture and all some weeks later.

    All my post was about was the feeding of liverpool fans trolling this forum to extent that those threads before the most popular on here. Which I feel is a pretty damning indictment of the place.

    You can take offence to that if you like, you can feel it is or it isn't constructive or not if you like. But it won't make it untrue and your views on what people should and shouldn't do to help this forum won't change the reality of what this place has been regardless of whether you were here or not to witness it for yourself.

    If my posts cause you offence then I suggest you report them or stop reading them or replying to them. Or you could ask to become a moderator and then take out your own personal vendetta against those you you deem 'too long in the tooth' to be posting on here.

    You wouldn't be the first member on here to take offence at people who 'reminisce' or post about the 'good old times', develop a chip on their shoulder about it, ask the webteam to be a moderator and then embark on their own personal BR crusade. Maybe you should follow in their footsteps too.

    I blame the RS fan who TC was obviously posting about.


    So directly or indirectly, TC, has opened up another debate that's focused on a 'troll fan' to the forum. So his post, which was i believe intended for us all to start ignoring any 'troll fans' posts, has now opened up another debate that is 'indeed' (did you like that bit?lol) begun focusing on the RS trolls that post on our forum. SO the intended topic of this debate has now back fired, and we are back to where we were before TC took his time to post this thread.

    De ja vu anyone??
