    Fristly,

The board- well done for your work throughout this transfer window, bit late but none the less fantastic work!

David Moyes- Hibbert to CB is a case of if we win we praise, we lose we go mental and question. In the end it worked to a tee and clean sheet against City is quality.

Straq- Absolutely brilliant sign him up!!!

The whole team in general played fantastic.
And lets get behind Jelavic and help him settle as best we can!

One who has been critical of our Tactics first half of the season feel Moyes got it spot on last night and by far the best performance so far. Like so many teams, especially the newly promoted ones have shown, we should not show them too much respect otherwise we lose.

Against United, Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Tottenham and Liverpool earlier this season we played defensively, negatively and for a draw. Total points 0

City last night we created as much as them had good chunks of possession and pressured them all over the park. I hope we continue this attitude for the rest of the season because I do think we have got some good players

The difference was straq. When Saha played, we had no outlet, and never kept hold of the ball. Straq did it all.

Agreed Straq was a big difference but the 5 in the middle got forward and used the ball better. Individually the were much but but most importantly as a unit the supported the game better and City were not allowed to dominate. THere was definitely a have a go attitude not park the bus.

Straq was MOM but alot of others had one of their best games of the season and Moyes tactically got it right. Remember against Arsenal we took off our lone striker for Distin. This time even at 1-0 we kept the shape and Vellios came on when it looked like Duffy was coming on for Straq.

Just feel the positive approach by Moyes allowed the players to get stuck in and the fans (apart from 1) were positive creating a great night from the start. If you ignore the result the performance itself was the most enjoyable this season and the players attitude was first class.

i completely agree with you matt, we have to start putting teams on the back foot and stop allowing constant pressure to build up. Strac was fantastic and showed great strength to hold the ball. Really hoping Moyes keeps him in the team and brings Jelavic of the bench as Strac deserves his chance!

If we keep this form and get the right results ( stoke sunderland newcastle ect ) start to slip perhaps we could finish up there!
