On another day Tim Cahill might've scored an Hat-Trick. Baines free-kick might've gone in. We'd have had a Peno for push on Cahill etc

Thats Football, QPR never had a shot on Goal in 2nd half & only 2 in 1st half. Barkley looks Great, a Real prospect.

Agree with all the issues but what are your answers.

For me we needed to sell early including 1 big name and buy a wide man and a striker.

This hasn't happened and we missed out on N'zogbia who would have been a great addition to the team.

If we only have CM why play 451 and not 532 dropping Heitinga into a more sweeperish style role and allow Baines and Neville to attack the wings

A midfield 3 of Barklay,Rodwell and Osman would have given us strengtth Height and creativity.

Possibly playing a diamond with Roidwell holding and Cahill as the figure point could also have worked.

Moyes just doesn't have what it takes to alter things when it goes wrong.

I am also surprised you haven't mentioned the Subs

Removing Beckford for Felli was ridiculous

Hmmm...5-3-2, sounds like a plan mate, could see this working. Our fullbacks Baines and Coleman (Neville for now) could do well with this.

Of course, using your formation, my midfield choices would have consisted of Barkley, Felli and Osman (with Rodwell comming on for Osman later on) . If Saha wasn't fit, Id put Yak or even Cahill up front next to Becks.

The formation picks itself its having the balls to do it.

But unfortunately Moyes hasn't considered it during pre-season so can't see him doing it now.

    Subs

If playing with our highest scorer in teh league up front is wrong then I don't know what's right.

Also, you may have failed to notice this from your vantage pioint with yuor head up yo ****, but whilst the boos were still rining Fella fed Cahill, who forced the keeper in to a great save.

We could have been out of site before they scored.

agree with all of that Dr Milky
it was just groundhog day from last season - wrong players in wrong positions, predictable formation and tactics
it's going to another testing season for the faithful ....

removing Beckford full stop would be a start

how can wrong players in wrong positions be a predictable formation if it even out foxed the fans.

Similarly, putting Cahill up front for a time on his own, how was that predictable.

Moyes is either predictable or wrong, it seems.
