11:50AM All last season, it was !Moyes will never drop his favorites no matter how poor their form/fitness/ability"
It was "Anichebe is untouchable, Arteta is untouchable Fellaini is untouchable".
First game of the season, all these players are dropped and it changes to wtf was Moyes at not startng Fellaini and Arteta?
and as you say its first game of season and everyone gets a fresh start, moyes didnt drop these players when they were playing poor last season, well felli was injured second half of season, surely you go into first game of season with your best players and go from there.
It seems to me as though Moyes is trying to force players into playing positions that are problem areas for us.milky71 said:Team selection was poor not due to players but down to formation.
We played 4 CM players Rodwell should never play RM and why play Anichebe at LM for most of the pre-season then drop him.
Preparation in pre-season was poor yet again
1 man to blame Moyes

I don't care about the team selection to be honest as we had more than enough to beat that team.
I do however care about how poorly we played and how we totally lacked the required fitness and sharpness it takes to win at this level. Where was it ?...... Where was this sharpness you said would come from playing decent teams in pre-season ?
Baines' freekick have gone in, we would of hammered them ?? What a stupid comment.
