Really unsure about Jelavic

    Really unsure about this signing, especially for the money. He may have scored goals in the SPL, but that is such a poor standard of league, even I could strap on a pair of boots and bang in 10 a season.

    From what I can see on YouTube all of his goals are a result of him having absolutely megatons of space because of poor defending and crap passbacks.

    Looks like a giant waste of money to be fair, and most players from the Scottish league would be.

    I agree with u there, im also unsure, and for what he is coming for is a bit high, we should be selling another 1 or 2 to raise more funds to get a proven striker from the prem or a better league than the spl, but we r not made of money and we should realy be giving jelavic a chance, after all in moyes we trust!

    I AGREE WITH WHAT YOU BOTH SAY in a way (oops hit caps sorry) but i agree that we give everyone a chance and get behind them. as far as im concerned, he is going to be fantastic until proved otherwise.!

    Didn't Arteta ply his trade in the inferior SPL?  If I'm not mistaken, he seemed to do ok for us didn't he?

    No, his trade started at Barcelona, went to Real Sociedad and then came to us. His time at Rangers was insignificant.

    @ Zagan - I'm not a bad footballer me, certainly good enough for Scottish league. Can't get in touch with McCoist though.

    In fairness, I think SPL football has fallen a long way behind the Prem since Arteta was up there!

    Can't be that good, or you would be playing in at least the SPL......
