everyone reporting on twitter that Jelavic fails to agree terms?

    wouldnt suprise me, he will probably jump a taxi across stanley park and get what he wants. altho nobody else seems interested atm in him and he dont want to stay at rangers im sure a deal will be thrashed out for him to join us.

    No surprise there.....the day is young yet.....the arteta deal to arsenal was off a few times too.......

    Both Everton & Jelavic will play hard ball on his wages for most of day, and then someone will cave in......

    I very much doubt he will have travelled for a medical without prior discussions on personal terms !!!

    everton will have a good idea what wages hes on now and will expect him to ask for more, jelavic knows how desperate we need a striker and his agent wouldnt be an agent if he didnt push for a lot more, everton will have a ball park figure and they will meet somewere in between, they wouldnt get him here for medical and not have a clue what sort of wages he will be expecting, unless hes asking for really silly money he will agree terms, if he is asking for silly wages then foooooooooook him off .

    totally agree...coupled with the fact he wants to play in the prem ...and has obviously... now stated... its with everton he wants to sign for...

    If he wants more than 50k,I'd be raising an eyebrow.

    Although all the wages we've saved thru' player departures should mean we have flexability.

    saying that though mate, does seem alot for a Rangers player to be on. However, the less he is on there, the more chance of us agreeing personal terms i suppose. if he is on 40, he will surely want to better that.
