Also says that we have zero chance of getting him! As too many other clubs would be interested. Shame though cos i think he would be great for us!

Also look at @agentscotland on twitter. Apparently a reliable source according to a fan on one of the Rangers forums

he's on about the Jelavic one i think mate, the guy says West Ham offered 5mill plus piqiuonne and the money spread over 2 and a half years, where as we have offered 3.5 upfront and 2.5 over 2 years with other little add ons meaning it could rise to 7 by the end of it.

Hoillett is class. 2nd half against us he was excellent. out of jelavic, hoillett and doyle, my first choice would be hoilett. he's not a striker though, he's a winger, but would create plenty of chances. jelavic is unproven in a top league so is a bit of a gamble in my eyes. doyle is a good player but probably not the type of striker we need. he's similar to what we already have in straq and anichebe.
i actually think it's a bad time of year to spend big money on a striker. you pay over the odds in january and can buy in a bit of a panic. i'd buy hoillett now, cos if he is out of contract in the summer he will probably end up at a top four club. and i'd get a striker in on loan till the summer.

i agree mate, i just think with hoilett, there will be clubs in the top 4 or 5 wanting him, so less chance of us getting him.

Hoilet probably at that point where he thinks hes proved himself well in the premier league so he'll now go for the biggest wage offer at any successful club
