Last I heard, this was an unlikely deal. Now it seems like it might happen.

    Thoughts?

dont know whether h rangers will accept as we dont have the money for a bidding war i believe that bilya went for 5 whether moyes gets the full 5 is a different matter but lets say he has, rangers have already turned down a bid of 7million from west ham so why would they accept 5?? maybe this is where player power comes in eh

It's extremely rare for a player to make the transaction from the SPL to the Prem.

I think now that he's said he wants to leave, "His dream is to play in the Prem", they might have to.

I'd rather take a player at a good age from over the border, as opposed to an ageing player from thr German 2nd division... This has to be seen as a step in the right direction

Bid has been accepted guys. 3 mill upfront rest in installements. 6mill in total could rise to 7.5 depending on success and appearances.

I think Jelavic will be a good signing he has proved he score goals, 1 every 2 games at club level and he also plays for his country regular. At 6.2 ft and 26 yrs old he seems to be a good target man and good in the air, something we have not got and something we have missed since big Dunk. I agree with ca7ah comment make McFadden part of the deal, I believe this is why rangers will sell him to us because McFadden is rated in Scotland and will do a good job for them. I would also say forget about buying another centre half in this transfer window, Duffys doing a fine job. I feel we do need to replace Donovan when his loan ends.

I never get my hopes up with Everton, but I would be pleased if we signed him. He has scored quite a few goals for Rangers, and he has Champions League experience.

McFadden might not want to go he knows what it would be like playing for Rangers and everyone knowing he is Celtic man so might not want the hassle
