The way the arsenal score is .. the only 3 teams we need to avoid is liverpool , chelsea and spurs and we stand great chance getting final , if not winning it

It would not be possible to get to the final without meeting one of those four teams, there are only eight teams left after the next round !

If you think about it escla even if we all get through next round still less than fifty percent chance of meeting them in the next round, that's assuming we all got through( think arsenal or villa should be included though). Still were in it so we have some chance.

difference between us in the fa cup this year and back in 2009 is our defense isnt as strong, our midfield isnt as strong and our strikeforce isnt as strong.  we look like conceding in every game we play and dont have the strikers to give us a 2 or 3 goal cushion,

tbh mate, i dont think we do, its taking deflected goals and pens for people to score against us a lot of the time this season. im not saying our defense is as strong now as it was then, but we dont look like shipping lots of goals, And back in 2009, were Jags and Arteta not out injured??

We did have a better squad then but I agree we wasn't at full strength at that time. Also, we had to beat Liverpool twice, Man United and Aston Villa in the cup that year.

not full strength but we still had lescott and yobo you were playing well together,  pienaar was still here.  neville and cahill were both playing well back then as was saha.

and arteta still played in the 5th round and jags only missed the final

we also had a lot of luck that year, didnt lucas get sent off and gerrard get injured after about 15mins.  and man united apart from vidic ferdinand and tevez played their B team.

Im not saying we didnt have out injuries just saying our team is much weaker then it was back then and the squad is also weaker.

I suppose at the end of the day, whatever way you look at it, regardless of which of our players play, whatever team the opposition field, if you win all your games you deserve to win the cup.

If we can get past blackpool or sheff wed, i think we have a great chance of getting to wembley, if we could get the luck of a home draw in the quarters i think the atmosphere would be buzzing and i think we could take any of those teams on and reach the semis.

I dont think we need to be the strongest team to win the FA cup. I mean look at Portsmouth they won the FA cup by beating Cardiff and then got beat by Chelski a few years later in the final. I for one am gonna get right behind Everton all the way to the final COYB!!!!!!

Exactly, you face whoever is put infront of you in a one off game for a chance at going to Wembley and winning the cup. We got there the hard way last time, maybe doing it the somewhat easier way will prove to take us a step further this time!
