    "The Dutch defender has been a mainstay in David Moyes’ side this season and is under contract until 2014.

    But according to reports in Spain, the La Liga side have already enquired about his services. The 28-year-old spent two seasons at Atletico Madrid before joining Everton for £6m back in 2009.    Mallorca boss Joaquin Caparros now hopes to tempt him back to Spain.

    yeah read that the other day.  They reckon he's worth £5m... and lets be honest, Moyes has already said he needs more defenders so...

    no chance, they cant afford his 65k a week wages and secondly the tax bracket for high earners in spain has gone  over the 50% threshold, why would you bother?
