First time in ages I've seen Everton make good steps in the right direction. A european spot via the league is past us but the cup if definitely still ours for the taking.

I was just thinking the exact same thing.

And apparently we were playing 4-4-2 aswell

Course it is, we'll win it, easy. Turning point, we're brilliant.

Give Dennis some game time and he will come good at least he's hungry more than you can say for saha! Good goal tonight I think he's got more in him. It's difficult to criticize any of our strikers when moyes persists in playing them on their own up front. Good team selection and formation tonight and lo and behold we look capable of beating teams again.... It's not rocket science just annoying that it always seems to take until January for moyes to work this out!

I must admit I do enjoy watching Stracqua-man knocking everyone to the ground. Reminds me of Yakubu

Are we calling people who celebrate a win fickle? I'm happier tonight than I have been for the majority of home games I've seen this year, but I would still like to see new stewardship of the club( I know it is unlikely but that doesn't stop me wanting it). Can't agree with the moyes out brigade but I would like to see Irvine given his old job back, and I would love Phil and Tim to be four years younger but they aren't. Does that make me fickle, maybe but show me a football supporter that isn't.

It was a good game tonight; the obvious difference was the fact Dull Dave was positive and we played with a good tempo.
Gueye showed some ability and Johnny had a solid game. Denis played well too and Felli for me had a great game.
On the other hand I thought Donovan looked a bit shakey and had some poor touches.
P.S. What's happened to the Hotdogs???

I'd love to win the Cup, but we have to stop thinking ahead and focus on the next round. I think that the fifth round is very important to us, and if we can get through it, then I think we can beat anyone in the quarter finals; but at the moment, it's all about round five.
