Best performance so far. Not glamourous by any means, but played a lot of intelligent passes linking midfield and attack, plus won a fair few tackles. Still not getting into shooting positions, but helped us keep the ball in the middle third. Felli will get the plaudits as he's so noticable and got the goal. But Gibson brought the wide players into the game and kept the ball moving at a decent tempo

And people slated Moyes for buying him... Pfft. Gibson has much more to give. Just wait and see.

Not seen much of him since hes been here, am NOT fickle but IMO ex utd player cant be a bad buy for us in our position and I did gladly accept his arrival

Some great passes tonight from Gibbo. Some atrocious one's too. But he'll be a good signing

I always said I was happy to get him and I always said it would take a few weeks to see it. The few weeks isn't up yet.

end of the day it was a 2 mill signing from a player who was rated very highly a few years ago, we cant afford anything more and a decent signing, a player whos lost his way a little and someone moyes can get more out of, we cant afford top class players and for what we paid we will get our moneys worth not like billy.

The question is has he improoved our midfield? Have to say yes. That is a sad thing to say. Good buy and hope he prospers.

It wasn't hard because Neville and Sheitinga were playing there previously.

I wouldn't rave about his performance, although it was solid. He made a couple of mistakes though. Fellaini was the stand out man for me tonight, regardless of his goal. He showed great energy, he got himself about, and he had the will to win. I've thought that Fellaini has been poor this season, but his performance today was sensational. I was impressed with Landon as well.

He thought he did okay, he looks like he will prove to be a player worth way more than the £1M we paid for him.

he's a quality player.  i didn't really see much of him at utd but i heard a lot of people, including his own fans at utd, say that he isn't good enough.  so i wasn't best pleased when we signed him but i've watched him twice for everton now and i know a quality footabller when i see one.  he doesn't waste the ball, he's cool in position, he can pass short and long, he seems to have a winning mentality and he can score goals.  in my opinion he is a fantastic signing especially if we sell rodwell for a silly fee

Will be interesting to see what Moyes plans are when Osman and Rodwell are back.

Have to say, what ive seen of him there is a bit of Joe Parkinson about him. Goes about his job really well, knows his position, keeps it simple when needed but forward, frees Fellaini and is just very tidy. Im not saying he is in Parky's class yet, but the signs are good and he shows more footballing understanding that you do from Rodwel ( sell, sell, sell ).
