He was so poor on the pitch, but is it so important to have him there as a leader?
Felli did good, so did straqi:)

So much better than last few games.

Neville was awful dont think he done a thing rite and we wur lucky not to get punished for some of his mistakes. He will do as cover but he shud not be in starting XI........

That being said I cant fault the rest of the team. Deserved the win and a good performance. Duffy had 1 or 2 shakey momments but he is getting valuable experience and looks a threat from set pieces, unlucky not to score at weekend and missed a sitter 2nite but at least he hetting on the end of things.

I thought Nev did well defensivly tonight. Put in a few **** crosses but generally put in a really aggressive, determined performance. I thnk people wnat him to play badly so they have someone to blame maybe? Baines had a **** in my opinion, which is a one off and gueye was weak. Luckily Fellaini was back on top form

That was brilliant. His stepovers before Fellaini's goal were pure class, too.

Whenever you pre-pubescent delinquent to$$pots emerge from under your postman pat duvets you may wish to look at ( if any of you can read that is) the various player ratings for last nights match, you will find that Nevilles ratings are as good as many and better than some, halfwits !

and play who at right back? hibbert lol, maybe his crossing can go astray as does hibberts, he offers so much more than hibbert, hes a great influence on the team in his manner and approach and leads by example, so maybe hes not the best now but he offers a lot of other attributes to the side.

The thing is, everyone in the crowd was cheering because of it. He did something to entertain them. That's what Everton has been lacking this season: entertaining play.

People give Neville to hard a time, he's not spectacular no but he is solid and he is passionate, determined and a good leader. His crosses where tosh but but thats what Baines & Donovan are for. At least he tries and i totally agree with Jxg that it was entertaining and good for the crowd.

Escla shut up, I was at the match and do not have to rely on journalists to tell me how good someone played I can make my own mind up and i do not require any validation from a southerner, be they journalists or a Tory boy who is used to being told what to think.

You may well have been at the match but I doubt very much that you are qualified to pass judgement on a players ability, and btw the ratings that I refer to are not onl the opinions of respected sportswriters but the result of polls also , so you just shut it you retard.

Neville isn't a great player, and he is woeful in midfield. He isn't the sort of player that entertains people, he doesn't have a lot of personality which is maybe why he gets stick.

I didn't pass judgement on his ability I passed judgement on his performance and as I've said I need no southerner to tell me otherwise.
