the reason the RS went through was because they wanted it more. over the 2 legs cardiff player better against palace and liverpool played better then city.
kompany would of been rested for at least one of the games anyway.
even if johnson was sent off they would of replaced him with kelly
citys was a penalty but at first glance it looked like he fell over, none of the city players appealed, apart from savic who just raised his arm and then put it back down again, it was only on the replays we saw that adam caught him at first glance it looked like he fell over.
richards was unlucky but he stupidly put his arms over his head and it clearly hit him in the arm 6 yards away from the ref, at the pace agger hit it the ball could of been going in, if you look at the decision it was instant from the referee.
in the first leg it was a pen, savic missed the ball and kicked aggers knee
City just never wanted it, it was only due to hart that the scoreline wasnt any higher. If mancini really wanted to win it he wouldnt have started savic and started nasri, dzeko and kolarov in the first leg, and in the second leg he would of started milner and aguero and again dropped savic.
