"Premier League clubs have been warned to sort out their dire finances.
At UEFA's summit on financial fair play, it was revealed that the total losses across Europe's top-flight clubs was £1.33billion in 2010 - up from £1bn.

General secretary Gianni Infantino said: 'This is the last wake-up call. This red trend has to be inverted very, very quickly to save European football.'

he doesnt say why or how.

    why: players obscenely high wages.

how: how can you reduce them?

I think all teams should be given a set amount of money for transfers and wages, they do this in the australian NRL, that way everybody is on the same playing field (excuse the pun) no one team can have all the superstars unless they pay them alot lower than their team mates, it certainly makes for a more competitive league. What can the players say about it? Go on strike? They might have to live on a £30 k a week rather than £100 k, shame!

Surely would be something. Would bring back the exitement for many of the teams in a few years. It would put more focus on developing own players through the youth system aswell.
