    I hate to disagree. I think with what he has done so far in his short career he should be banned for life.

    Undoubtly one of the brightest stars in football but if i had done that at my work place i would be in jail. Just because he is a superstar he acts like he can do what he wants and just get a fine or a ban hey a ban still means he gets paid. I am sorry footballers need to adhere to the laws of the game and the laws of civilization.

    Balotelli is entertainment. He is box office.

    And having got retrospectively caught trying to back heel a spurs player in the face. He has mildly accused the FA of consistently discriminating against foreign players over their English counterparts.

    Think what you like of him but given the position of the FA on this, several English players including Lescott and other players who have fallen foul of this rule. You have to say that this is a very funny move by Balotelli and his people.

    Without actually using the words he's called them inconsistent and racist.

    you play football jay?? you never kicked out at somebody, or got sent off, or get in an altercation during a game?!?! Cos i have, and i dont think i should have been banned for life for it! its sport, its not like a 'normal' work place! in a normal work place you are not playing to win, there is no competition! that is a poor analogy! i expect better from you!

    imagine if they super slow mowed every decision in every game, or panned the camera round to catch every off the ball incident in super slow motion! most games the following week teams would be fielding 4 on 4, or 7 a side! ITS VICTIMIZATION! They like to make examples of certain individuals!

    Yeah i have played for the army units and core's i have been in. And yes been sent off and yes i have reacted to incidents and i have taken my punishment. But i have never gone into a chalenge wanting to hurt some one, i have never stamped on some one.

    if it was a one time thing you could let him off but there is two or three or four incidents like this from him every year. 

    What do you do for a living?

    BUT jay, there is punishments for things the players do wrong, there are guidelines and disciplines for it! You said he should be banned for life, and your taking that stance cos its Balotelli, your making a rule up just b'cos its him! Do you work for the FA by any chance?!?!?!?! If you do, i suggest watching the incident in the correct speed from the referees angle and then make your mind up instead of the super slow mo speed and from every angle bar the referees!

    He is a personality, its jsut unfortunate for him, its a personality a lot of people do not like, but he is still a human being!

    When I used to play that kind of tackle was positively encouraged. I excelled at that sort of tackle in fact. I remember planting my stoods firmly in the groin of a St Edwards kid and received a mere ticking off. Soft these players these days.

    No it is not just because it is Balotelli i love watching him play. There are other players i think there mental state should not be allowed in modern football. 

    If a player purposly intends to injure another then the police should be called in. If i hit you outside a club then i would expect the police knocking at my door. If Osman did this i would say the same thing.

    If Osman karate kicked another player, then stamped on another ETC then i would expect jail time LIKE BARTON, LIKE BIG DUNC. If this pursists then the only action after bans, fine's, jail time is SORRY NO MORE FOOTBALL.

    Even in normal speed you can see the un-natrual movement it is obvious.

    Its not the outside world the Jay, its football, these are talking points and this sort of thing happens all the time! its cos its Balotelli that he is getting victimized for it! thats my point! they dont pull every player up for it, they just pull up the ones they know they can make a high profile out of! i was watching the liverpool v man city league game a few eeks ago, balotelli was wrongly sent off imo, the crowd started shouting for him to be sent off and the referee looked, saw it was Mario, and changed his mind from giving nothing to sneding him off just because it was him! its victimization! the referees are weak and the FA are weaker! they all succumb to peer pressure, they are nothing but organizational bullies imo, picking on the easy targets cos they know it gives them publicity!
