    Jxg, honestly, an air crash made the scum successful because it gave them publicity! They were playing in what competition? Must have been s*** before that crash then eh? if you know nothing post nothing!

    They took six years to win the league after that crash... won it twice then had to wait 25 years.... so if we drive the current everton squad off a cliff we'll be sippin' champagne in 2037...

    Ogv, publicity takes a while to get going ( have to ask jxg as I don't fully understand) that must be why it took six years for the team to win the championship again. Oh wait there it was because they had to rebuild a team but the good publicity they received must have helped them attract top players. Ffs publicity I cannot believe we have any fans that thick. In the month or so I have been on here that is wthout doubt the stupidist thing I have read, congratulations jxg.

    its not an excuse its a reason. 

    football is rooted in the  working classes. its the unemployed that would often be the fans, not the wine bar afficiando's or the harvey nichols shoppers.

    30 quid for a ticket to a match is criminal. how many dads would love to take their kids to watch EFC but simply can't afford it?
