My Take On Yesterday.....

Having just watched the MOTD highlights, we looked to have plenty of chances, yet it is so so so frustrating that we can't seem to finish in front of goal. We didn't look to play all that badly, although I AM just relying on those highlights so I know I don't have the full-scale picture.

However, how did we let them have so much space for the goal?! And Jags should have let that ball go towards the QPR lad (was it Smith or Buszaky?) and he'd have easily been offside, two big mistakes there.

Also, 4-5-1 at home is getting silly, we all know we should be playing 2 up front, why doesn't Moyes? As I've already said, I don't think sacking him now is quite the answer, we need to give him at least six games to see what happens. Hopefully this was one big mistake which won't happen again and Moyes will get his tactics sorted. If we continue to go 1 up front at home, I'll be banging my head against a brick wall in no time!

We need another wide man, we DESPERATELY need another striker, one who can score goals. I think it's going to take Beckford a couple of games to get going but I'm confident he will soon.

I kind of thought this would happen though, had we played Spurs first, I reckon we'd have won that, and then, as we seemingly did, underestimate QPR and get beat by them.

I just don't think it's time to start the alarm bells ringing yet, or for the 'Moyes Out' Brigade to start banging the drums just yet..... But it SHOULD be made clear to him that this will no longer be acceptable to play poor tactics. I still trust Moyes, but it WILL soon start to fade if he carries on like that.

However, Moyes can only do what he can with the players he has at the moment, so keep supporting Moyes, but keep pressuring BS Billy. We NEED investment from somewhere, and BS Bill ain't the answer.

Widely agree with what you've said there and every man and his dog knows we need to bring in a winger and a striker but as no one is buying our players we can't bring anyone in. Arsene will probably make bids for the likes of Arteta and Jags just before the end of the window giving us no time to replace and if that's the case we should just tell him to p.i.ss off

Yeah I agree. I wouldn't want to lose our best players BUT if we had to, I'd have said sell them sooner than nine or 10 days before the deadline, to give us time to replace. It would make no sense to do so now. It's unfortunate that we'd have to sell to buy but that's the case and I think if we're going to do it, we're gonna have to wait until January now.

Had plenty of chances and should have had at least one penalty (rodwell being shoved to the floor), would have been such a different story if either timmy or bainseys efforts would have gone in, on another day we would have been 3-0 up at half time
