If we sold Mikel even for £10mil we'd only for £4mil of that money because the bank would want the rest. With no european football we'll keep running at a loss. We need a new owner but who would want to buy a football club in this financial standing and is in dyer need of a new stadium.

But he would be off the wage bill, and KM agrees with me so its 2 against 1 :p

I doubt barkley is ready for a premier league team to continuously rely on him to create and supply.

Well we can't rely on the overpaid Spaniard to create and supply.

I would rather have the wage bill reduced by £75k!

Arteta is sold, we use the money to pay off debt, the wage bill is reduced and we bring in someone on loan.

Daniel Sturridge, Craig Bellamy, Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverly, Adam Johnson, Landon Donovan, just some suggestions.

Replacing our creative midfielder with a striker isn't the best way to go and I don't think Landon would get in the Everton team any more (Coleman is better now).

A truly talented creative midfielder would be very hard to find and I'd rather have Mikel over Cleverly but that's just my opinion.
