But if they do want him, we SELL SELL SELL and never look back :p
**Didn't want to sound disrespectful to Arteta there, he has been a great player for us before he got stale. A change of scenery could be what he needs. He might start regaining his form at another club.

i think we are better off keeping him because if we sell him how much of the money will we get of the sale lets just say we got £10m for him the bank would want half that straight away and 5m not going to get a player like arteta .

We got Barkley, Fella, Cahill, Billy and Osman for central/attacking/devensive midfielders and Mustard and Barkley (again) as wingers...don't see the problem. Bring in a new left winger with the Arteta money (or half of it) and sell Jags and get a striker.

Sell, sell, sell, he's got his lead boots on again, thinks he's got monopoly on free kicks when he only ever hits the wall, yet Baines nearly always tests the keeper, plus he's are highest earner, give that wage to Felli so we can secure him for 4/5 years, we'd make more on Felli anyway, Arteta just doesnt seem to offer us anything anymore, i'd love for him to prove me wrong but going on his performance last season and yesterday i'd cash in

rather see jags go to be honest. we can afford to lose a centre half that always gets dragged out of position and looks like bag o nerves. can't really afford to lose someone with a bit of creativity.

I'm not necessarily in favor of selling him. However, if they do, then 75k/week would be coming off of the books. I'm split on the decision to sell him, he's one of my favorites.

Sell him then, then that puts us another player short in the squad. Maybe you havent been reading or listening, the bank want the money, its the only place its going. So forget about selling unless, as Moysey says its money that he's prepared to let them go, and no one will pay that.

Get the Spanish midget off the wage bill, complete waste of money. I would take £6m-£8m for him.

Shocked by what some of u are saying about arteta. He's been very loyal an unlucky with injuries. I'm sure he will bounce back.

Barkley looked promising don't get carried away.

Without forwards we won't finish above 10th. Miles behind and not keen on any players were linked with.

Everyone begged Arteta to show some loyalty and sign his contract and he did and he had his first poor season last year and everyone is on his back. He suffered a serious injury and as well as a run of games he needs confidence as well.

Arteta is supposed to be our play maker, but he has never been the same player since he signed a new contract. He earns £75,000 a week and even if you play for Man City that is big money. We are a club that doesn't have any money to sign new players therefore the players that we have should be performing, especially the ones on big money. Arteta either doesn't care or is past his best, we should get him off the wage bill and sell him. We broke our wage structure on Arteta, but he is starting to pi$$ me off big time.

Howdy, Stranger!
