Posts: 1,537January 2012 I'm sick to death of people hating Moyes and blaming him for everything. Yes, he is responsible for formations and maybe he's been wrong there, but half of what you people blame him for isn't his fault.
Our players are lazy. Their hearts aren't in it. This is reinforced by the fact that you guys give them so much stick for their lack of passion that as a result they have less passion.
He has no money, so he cannot buy good players. I don't care what you say about this; it's true. Nobody wants to buy us because you lot are a bunch of miserable sh*tes and they don't want to own a football club that has miserable fans that whine, complain and moan about everything.
Now is the time to get behind the team, get behind Moyes and act like fans, not critcs.
I know that not all of you fall into this catagory, so don't take offence from this.

Posts: 7,477January 2012 Nobody hates him, its just he's gone stale, lost the plot a few times this season and his man management of the team is so poor. It show's in the players, they are terrified out there to do anything off the cuff, try something different. Happens to everyone at some stage, you outgrow ideas and places. We all need something else to invigorate ourselves sometimes, move on to something new, and thats what he needs, and its what the players need, new ideas and a new more positive face about the place. Ive said it before and wont apologise for saying it again, ive worked with bosses who are negative, moaning, talking about lack of money all day, and i tell you it drains the life out of you. This is Moyes at this time, he's got a face like a smacked ****, and so miserable, it will affect the players, there is no doubt about it.....

Moyes just hasnt advanced as a manager for me in the 10 years he has been here.
he is still making the same mistakes he was 5-6 years ago only difference is the team is now a lot weaker compared to what it was.
tactics has always been a major weakness, only difference no one cared back then as we were winning.
But now it must also be hard to keep the players motivated knowing they have little chance of winning any silverware. players like arteta, pienaar and lescott had enough, yes they got pay increases but they also went for the chance to win trophies.
For people like neville, howard saha they already have enough medals in the cabinet.
if it was just about money they would of gone to china or russia and collected big wages that way

Well said mate we SHOULD be getting behind him and the team, not spouting negative poisonous venom. AND how the bloodyhell do you know he's not happy to be here, warrington Dan? Does he go in your local and moan with the rest of yous? Get a life or go to Analfield with the rest of the spoiled brats who feel they should be winning everything -
Posts: 606January 2012 I agree completely, itsa depressing time for Everton at the moment... I was suprised by how many blackburn fans turned up for yesterdays game... that first time in a while iv seen a real crow turn up to goodison t support them. They're fighting relegation and i didn't hear the blackburn fans shut up once yesterday whilst we sat there judging where the next mistake wil come from. Correct me ifim wrong but did we even make one chant yesterday?

HE is the manager HE picks the team HE should be able to motivate the players. HE tells the players how to play. HE is at fault for the total dross they are playing.

Point i'm making is a manager may call the shots but not every player is gonna respond.. theres no urgency.. in yesterdays game we didn't see any sparks of attack until after Blackburns goal.. that lasted 2 minutes and when Vellios and Straq came on I felt there was much more urgency due to their upeat outlook and impact in those dying moments.. when they came on we almost score... TWICE was unfortunate they never ended up in the net. -
Posts: 33January 2012 If the manager calls the shoots and the players are not responding whos fault is it jaybeck. Bruce lost the dressing room at sunderland or could not motivate the players so he was sacked. Martin ONeil came in and has changed it around with yes the same squad.
Moyes has had ten yrs, hes had his time. Who else as a manager has been given ten yrs in the premership without winning any silverware. Managers go stale, lose motavation and lack ideas, its a management tool to swap managers in any form of business not just football to improve situations.
I dont hate Moyes far from it, hes done a great job for the first 6 yrs but hey we are on a downward slope team selections and formations are poor and hey nothing lasts for ever mate. -
Posts: 18January 2012 Think back to Charlton and the time Curbishley spent there, he went stale after doing a cracking job and the aftermath from his departure is still plain to see now, Everton is what it is right now and i for one do not want to see this great club fall to league 1, only the people in the peoples club can save us now, get behind what we have, accept players out of position because we have no choice, do you really think Moyes wants to play Vic on the wing? Granted don't know why he has no faith in Drenthe or Billy for that matter and there is a sense of playing not to loose rather than to win. Moyes has been great for this club and at times had the team playing great football, lets not give up on him just yet as i would hate to get relegated with Alan Irvine in charge!

I agree with you on some points.
He clearly has his favourites (otherwise Saha would be out) or at least, he expects too much of some players. And I don't know why he never played Bily in his right position, or why he put Vic on the wing, but like I said, now is not the time to complain.
It's mid season; the time we that are renowned for picking up our game and charging up the table. There is nothing you can do about anything by complaining now. You need to get behind Moyes and the team, and support them. They need it. Once the season ends, you can start pointing the finger, but right now, just get behind the team.

moyes should be doing a hell of a lot better with the players at his disposal and we should be playing a lot better football than the likes of swansea, norwich, blackburn, stoke etc..... but we dont. football wise we are the worst in the league without a shadow of a doubt and we struggle to even score a goal and to entertain the fans just a tiny bit
moyes persists to play saha and cahill together. he persists to leave out our one and only exciting player - royston drenthe. he frequently starts the game with 6 defenders on the pitch. he frequently plays 2 holding midfielders. he refuses to budge from 4 5 1. he plays people out of position. he trains the team, it's his style of play, his tactics and his substitution - he is the man to blame

Regardless of your opinion, you need to stop complaining and support the team in everything they do.
Need I remind you that it was this time last year that Saha banged in 4 and turned our season around? I know Saha is past his best, but we got behind him and the club and look what they did.

Take the good things, I hope Hibbo scores and everybody riots and it'll lift the spirit! or something like that.

i've got every right right to complain. i pay to watch everton week in week out and i give them my support but at the moment there is a lot of things about david moyes that are very, very wrong which i refuse to just ignore and not complain about

so the reason that nobody has bought everton is because we have miserable fans ? haha you really are living in la la land arent you. everybody knows why everton havent been bought. and we DONT have miserable fans. everton fans are great but since the 2009 fa cup final we have started complaing a lot AND RIGHTLEY SO. we are the worst fottballing side in the league, we sell our best players and dont replace them, we the fans pay our hard earned cash and do not get entertained for it
and you say moyes cannot buy good players cos he has no money. but he already has a lot of good players in the squad. there's absolutely nothin wrong with the keeper and the defenders. he has got lot's of good centre mids - felli, rodwell, ossie, barkley cahill(apart from this season). we need to imporve out wide and upfront. however having no money to improve the clubs wingers and strikers is no excuse for the toal and utter garbage we have witnessed this season.
