Can you grow out of love with football?

Because I'm telling you Moyes and his Everton team is killing my love of the game.
Were the most boring negative, clueless team in the premiership and I'm finding it hard to find any optimism these days. It's not even that were trying to fix the problems.

Moyes I was a massive fan, now I'm not sure if your holding us back. Your pitch side every game you must see what the rest of us do. No wonder crowds are dropping I laugh coz it's your job and you have to turn up and watch.

Sort it out now drastic measures needed, inject some youth in the team, a bit of no fear will do us good.

    I don't mind risking losing 1point for 3.

Supporting you and this team at the moment is boring, boring and painful.

Have said this before.  We are so boring to watch.  A girl in front of me yesterday played on her phone for most of the game yesterday, and the worst thing is there is very little hope for change.  Thats why there was big gaps yesterady, most Blues know what they are going to get when they come to a game, so why spend what there hard earned on that.

my love for football in general has dwindled in recent years. what with players diving, play acting, poor refereeing and petty fouls for the slightest contact , its kinda sad. I had more fun watching the darts recently. brilliant

i havent fell out of love with football, just the utter garbage we produce week in week out cant call it football, clueless , passionless and inept in every area, i wish moyes would play some of the younger players as well but he obviously doesnt trust them. barkley vellios macalely duffy and a few more should get a lot more game time than they are at the moment at least they would give 100% not like this bunch of spineless wankers we have to watch week in week out.

I watched a conference game yest and I had a really good day, the level wasn't that far behind how were playing at mo and it cost £10 or there abouts, even had 5 goals to enjoy, ain't seen that at goodison for too many yrs. **** the prem, too many ego's and like ' all round my hat' says too much of this ' I've been shot by a sniper'. I love everton and always will but lower leagues is where the funs at.

It's like reading Toffeeweb - negative moaning - no hope - no passion - and I must agree with every word. I've even stopped watching MOTD and most live games on TV. The Fulham game is the first home game I have chosen not to go to for years. I won't be renewing my ticket next year unless there are big changes in the way we play.

    I feel the same.
The passion from fotball comes from the supporter, not the players.

Players mind are in the Bank not in the game

Think I have to stop watch EFC for a while.
Its make me in a really bad mood for the rest of the weekend:(

I'd fallen out with it for a few years up until the last couple of years or so, got sick of the money that is crippling the game, its repetitive, the same teams always win the trophies, the football (as a whole) is usually boring and unexciting cos of the amount of money that is at stake. It frustrated me know end for a long time so i didnt get too involved.

However, i love my club, will always support them, and will always do my best to get behind them, however, im not as in love with football as a game, as i was in the early 90's through to the late 90's. Things have changed massively, and not for the better imo. And thats not Everton, thats football as a game.

I haven't fallen out of love with football or my beloved EVERTON FC, however I am falling out of love with so called fellow EVERTONIANS being so negative and calling for the head of one of the best Manager's in the Prem, ..How can yous be so fickle about a young Manager who as worked near miracles for our Club. We're going through a bad time at the mo, that's football, Get A Grip you Spoiled Brats. You sound like Fekingkopites!!! ARRRRRG!

I've said this before but it's worth saying again. The whole salary capped squad of Leicester Tigers Rugby Union, the most successful and best supported team in the UK comes to £4M per year which is just a bit more than DM gets or £2M less than that crock Stevie G gets, and that's for the whole squad. These guys go out and work their balls off and pick up injuries that footballers can't even begin to understand but every week they continue to give their all. Footballers are grossly overpaid, dive and cheat as a matter of course, and quite frankly don't give a toss for the team or the fans. I've watched football for 50 odd years but no more, I prefer the effort that the Rugby guys put in........

Bluejon I'm not spoilt brat, I'd be happy if I was, been a blue for thirty years and a big moyes fan, but I'm coming round to thinking as much as his hands are tied with cash, were struggling in tactics, substitutions, inspiring confidence all of which are not down to money.

I actually wonder sometimes as I think most people do, could I do a better job?
