"Moyes was also pleased to see Cahill break a goal drought stretching back to December 2010.

He added: "He's been playing well in recent weeks. He's looking more
likely to score and I can see that in the way he's been training and the
    way he plays the games."

Erm, wtfbbq? Has Moyes been watching the same team we have? **** me, next week he'll be saying Saha is world class.

I'm sure if Moyes went on Sky and said "Yeah Tim scored today but it was a tap in and the lad is still just as **** as he was 3 months ago", you'd have no critism whatsoever about him undoing any lift the player might get from finally getting that monkey off his back! Ffs!

Recent weeks, mates. Not half the season or last half of the last season. I say it's a good thing he scored. Good thing.

Guys, you've got to understand that Cahill is a midfielder. Midfielders aren't supposed to bang in 10 a season. The fact that he has scored so many goals in the past is neither here nor there. His build-up play is what matters. It has been good over the past few weeks, and the only reason we haven't had more goals is because Saha is lazy.

As for the clearance, he couldn't have done much better. He probably should have hit it to the side, but Goodwillie (I think that was the one who scored) was far too close for him to clear it.

Howdy, Stranger!
