The article would be more credible if they didn't pretend that a turnover of £82 Million was a huge resource. About half of that is TV money that every club gets (some alot more). That puts Everton half way down the financial league table - which is inconsistent with 2 5th place finishes and 2 6th place finishes, and 8th and 7th in the last 6 years. In that financial league, Clubs like Fulham have a turnover of only a couple of million less.

Newcastle are NOT a comparible club that blog tries to make out. Their turnover is over £100 Million and they come with an entire city on their doorstep, with no Premier League competition within (never mind one of the most famous clubs on the planet) and a 53,000 capacity ground with no obstructed views. They have had to cut back in order to pay back the loans they got due to their wage bill being over £70 million in the season they were relegated. It's not because of any model they're trying to follow as a clever business idea. In effect, you actually end up giving them credit for getting relegated and landing in debts of over £150 Million (more than 3 times Everton's) with those sort of resources! Barton and Nolan aren't exactly Jagielka and Baines either!

Newcastle aren't achieveing anything more than Everton did in the last number of seasons anyway! And who knows, given Everton's usual second half of the season surge, we just MIGHT even finish above them this season too if we can get a forward player like Saha or Cahill to hit the form they are capable of!

another article that doesent show the full picture.  newcaslte and villa cant be compared to us as they have rich owners, if the **** hits the fan, the owners are there to help them out.

also doesent show the lies BK has said and the numerous bad decisions he has made in the past, that he is now paying the cost for.

I dont think people realise how close we are to being relegation fodder, when moyes walks/contract runs out then we will see what the club is really made of.

Villa have a rich owner, that has told the manager he has to sell to buy. Do we want that type of Rich owner?

And you must really rate Moyes then mate :)

He does but he won't admit.

If he did admit it, it could be considered positive.
