Posts: 606January 2012 Onohua now seems very unlikely to sign for Everton as QPR ready a 4 million pound bid for the versatile defender. Mark Hughes has been told by owner Tony Fernandes he has cash to spend in January and see's Onohua as a possible target.
Everton have also revived their interest in 20 year old kostas manolas, the Greek side AEK Athens may have to sell as they are currently in financial struggles.
I'd be a bit dissapointed if we didn't get onohua but I don't know why QPR are after so many defenders when their strikers couldn't hit a barn door -
Posts: 5,105January 2012 and were after a defender when our strikers cant hit 2 barn doors, still dissapointing having to lose out to a tin pot load of shoiteeeee like qpr, we could of got onohua before start of season for 2 mill. and james wallace looks like joining preston as new boss had him on loan at stevenage and things hes very good, why not just keep wallace and he can be cover, or is it just a case of another good youngster not getting a chance off moyes.

AWOOGA. at least Bily may finally be on his way out for roughly 5 mil. that 5 mil will have to be respent and not goto the stupid bank

Posts: 754January 2012 could be just a case of another "good" youngster, just not proving his potential. I dont know for sure as i havent seen him play in any ressies games but the coaches who see him train day in and day out, an know him very well, will know whether he is going to make it or not, i guess in this game you need to make a quick assessment and get him off the wage bill so we can afford a couple more potential youngsters to come through, until we get a definite star

Well he's only just turned 20 so you'd never know. Some players don't emerge til early 20's.
But from what I hear, I don't think he's as big a prospect as the likes of Bidwell, Garbutt, Barkley obviously and maybe one or tow others! -

Posts: 125January 2012 Onuoha has turned down a move to QPR saying he would rather stay in the northwest. This was reported on Sky Sports news last night i cant find you any internet confirmation tho
