Why we don't compete financially but us as fans can do something about it.

One of the main reasons we cannot compete with the clubs above us is that they create bigger revenues than us. In football nearly all revenue is generated by the quality of the fan base. Obvious one is match day revenue. If you look at the cost of a match day ticket and compare it with the clubs we want to be competing with we are much cheaper.

By simply putting the price up by GBP5 per game we would generate around GBP 3.5 million a year. GBP 10 would generate GBP 7 million a year. Even with these increases we would still be fairly priced in comparision with the teams we beleive we should be competing against.

Increase revenues will improve the chance of investors and even a stadium move.

so why are stoke getting better revenues than us? nothing to do with poor manangement from our board over the last 10 years or so. weve got no real assets (except players which the board will happily sell to fill the pockets of loan sharks green and elfstone earl and the bank) all we got is an ageing stadium, we dont even own our own training ground now, whos going to buy us when all they see is debt and a stadium falling apart and the thought of having to forke out 100s of millions to put right what our board has foooooooked up over a number of years. unless we put tickets up to £1000 a match then its not getting any better, weve even used our tv money for the next 2 years so any investor coming in isnt even gonna get that nice bundle of cash to start off with.

something stinks to high heaven at everton at the moment and the kenright elfstone green and earl pals act is as crooked as it comes, someones raking in a lot of money behind the scenes, i bet elfstone earl or green got the training complex through a 3rd party for buttons and are raking in a million quid + a year in rent , earl has 23% of the club yet has no interest in the football side of the club, you think hes there out the goodness of his heart , no chance hes seen us as a good screw, and wtf has green got to do with us hes nothing as far as the club is concerned and sick of hearing from this toe rag all the time, hes there as advisor well the state were in he should fk off back to his crappy shops and leave his advice well away from OUR club, to many people involved in our clubb who not got any interest in football thats why were struggling these shitheads are just in it for a fast buck and the sooner they fk off the better.

rant over lol , **** offffffffff hearing about our situation and wish i knew what the foooooooook has happened to our club and had some honest answers from our board instead of playing a guessing game all the time and being fed bullshit, dont matter what we post as fans for a solution there isnt one, all i can see is the shiiiiiiiit hitting the fan over next few years and financial meltdown, unless a big investor is found, which under the curreent guidance wont happen, they wont sell some are onto a good thing and raking in a fortune via 3rd parties im sure, there not interested in our club only what they can make out of it. im sure it will all come out one day whos robbing us blind at our club.

As stated in all 3 posts you think they are crooks and lining their pockets but its all guess work because of the plight we are gonig through. I am not here defending them and they are responsible for the well being of the club but like you I am bored of the constant accusations made without substance.

As a club we are now on the same levels as the Stokes in revenue terms because them and the likes of Bolton put a new stadium in place when it was the right time to do it and we have missed the opportuinty. The club is indecline and has been for longer than Kenwright has been there. Hindsight is an easy thing and I am sure they see that they have missed an opportunity to get us challenging financially.

My point is that we are the source of revenue to the club but would we be willing to pay the same in tickets as other clubs? Definitely not to see the **** we have seen this year but with the extra revenue that would be able to improve the playing staff as well as manage the debt better and not need to sell all the assets.

Liverpool done a protest against hicks and gillett and succeeded in a new investor. We have decided to do the same but betray the club with the relationship the board has with blue union.

What needs to happen is us as fans must strap the blue union and their policys on privacy and protest before and after all home games.

Just gonna come out and say it... Blue union is a bunch of sh*t and needs to be scrapped immediately. KEIOC seemed to work with their protests so why doesn't this

i know its all guess work, but think the board use guess work in running our club, there a joke, if its true that they sold finch farm for 2 million and leasing it back over 50 years at 1.1 million a year thats got to be the most ludicrous thing ive ever read maybe its all bullshit but it wouldnt suprise me with this board and if w ehave to let one of our main assets go its totally bad business, may as well of sold a player , things must be totally dire if they have to do a deal like that and i wonder whos really getting the 1.1 mill a year rent in there back pocket.

well if we couldnt afford them and its put us in this current predicament debt wise then its foolish business sense , jags wasnt a fortune , fellis not bad but not worth 15 million back then, would of been better off saving the money as the other 3 turned out to be shoite :-))
